Black Horse Yacht Staff

Black Horse Yachts employs accomplished marine craftsmen who are passionate about the construction process of each Black Horse Yacht. Heading up the crew, General Manager Howard Hagar's career as a Maine boatbuilder was launched after graduating from the Washington County "Boat School" and a 4 year apprenticeship at Bass Harbor Boat in the 1970's. Soon after he established H&H Boatworks - a restoration and repair service specializing in Concordia sailboats. Staying the course the in the marine trades, Howard was instrumental in bringing the first Black Horse Yacht to life in 1999. Likewise, the crew at Black Horse Yachts are longtime trade professionals and share the same fervor for detail and quality.
